The Company has been organized with a view to producing, on a commercial scale, the nanocluster carbon, including fullerenes and fullerene black, and developing carbon nanotechnologies, on the basis of many years’ experience gained at the Plasma-Gasdynamics Laboratory of the Ioffe Institue of Physics and Technology of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
NeoTechProduct Research & Production Company organized commercial production of nanocarbon materials based on Russian patent for invention # 2234457 with priority date of 1 June 2001. In 2006 new-generation apparatus for production of nanocarbons have been designed. In November 2006 an application has been filed for RF patent relating to a method of high-purity С60 fullerene manufacture. In March 2007 two applications have been filed for RF patents relating to technique and new-generation apparatus for nanocarbon manufacture. In January 2007 installation of the new-generation reactors has begun.
Scope of Activities
Development of technologies for commercial manufacture of carbon nanocluster material, fullerene-containing soot, mixtures of fullerenes and their homologues from spectroscopically pure graphite.
Export of the products of carbon nanotechnologies, including kilogram quantities of C60 fullerene of purity from 99.5 wt.% to 99.9 wt.% and higher; C70 fullerene of purity 95 wt.%, 97 wt.%, and 99 wt.%; extract of fullerenes and mixtures of higher fullerenes; as well as fullerene black.
